Excellent Gastroenterologist Opportunity – Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City) ***Generous $75.000 Sign-on bonus and retention package plus relocation allowance offered for full-time candidates.*** Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, located about one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County and next to Westchester County in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join our rapidly growing Digestive Health Institute in a long established and busy practice with 18 physicians and 12 advanced practitioners and growing. Our Digestive Health Institute is expanding our clinical councils in Colon Screening, Advanced GI procedures and therapies, IBD, GERD, and Liver Disease.Responsibilities include outpatient practice, scoping, and limited inpatient coverage. There is also opportunity for a faculty appointment. New and recent graduates as well as candidates with Advanced Endoscopy fellowship training are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible gastroenterologist looking to join a highly collegial team with attractive call schedule. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses. Part-time and per diem options available.
