JOB SPECIFICS
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with diabetic disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor and adjust treatments based on patient progress and lab results. Educate patients and their families about endocrine disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with endocrinologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results. Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Minimum of two years of experience as an APP Passion for Diabetic Managment Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Expectation within 3 years obtain the Advanced Diabetes Management Board Certification
