Project Manager – Water Wastewater Engineer
in
Mount Pleasant, SC . The position requires a strong understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure and process design, preferably with municipal systems. It requires experience in managing both public and private projects, with a focus on local municipal and quasi-governmental clients (e.g., water/sewer authorities). A strong knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office software is required. Experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater modeling software by Innovyze is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license are required. Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple large or complex projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure.Coordinate and develop project staff, supporting and evaluating team members toward achieving their potential.Ensure projects are completed successfully on time and on budget under high-level administrative guidance.Operate with strong communication with clients and internal teams. Utilize project tracking software (Vision/Microsoft Project) and common Office tools to monitor scope, schedule and budget. Minimum Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, or a Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) required. Experience:
2–3 years of experience in the design of municipal water/wastewater projects. Skills:
Ability to analyze, coordinate and manage several large or complex projects; ability to develop project staff; ability to deliver projects on time and on budget; advanced knowledge of project tracking software (Vision or Microsoft Project); intermediate knowledge of Word/Excel; strong organizational, time management, communication, leadership skills; project experience in the southeastern United States, preferably Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
