Goldbelt Apex is seeking an Operations Analyst II to join our team providing administrative, technical, and professional support services to DGHP. The CDC Global Health Center (GHC)/Division of Global Health Protection (DGHP)/Office of the Director (OD) and supported Branches work to build and strengthen public health capacity by enhancing the ability of CDC, the Global Health Center and its public health partners to prepare for, prevent, and respond to infectious diseases, including outbreaks, bioterrorism, and other public health emergencies through cross-cutting and specialized programs, technical expertise, and public health leadership.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions: Office Management: Maintain stock of office supplies. Solicit needs from DGHP/OD staff. Prepare and submit orders for supplies, equipment, and training materials (e.g., textbooks, journals, online courses, recertification exams, etc.). Prepare and submit CCPS purchase request forms and any required supplementary documentation to DGHP. Manage Accounting Credit Card System MACCS Cardholder for purchase. When training requests are required, work with DGHP administrative staff responsible for DGHP training requests to assure approval. Oversee and maintain at least one DGHP floor copier, printer, scanner; ensure it is in working order, stocked with paper and toner, and request service when needed. Support DGHP Property Custodian to track, inventory, excess, maintain, replace DGHP staff IT and office equipment. Ensure DGHP staff have necessary communication equipment and software (cellular devices, smart-phones, desk phones, TEAMS accessories). Coordinate with OCIO to ensure DGHP staff have functional computer equipment and software. Assist with in/out processing of personnel and turnkey services for DGHP staff. Coordinate with DGHP management, OCIO, HRO, OSSAM and others to arrange appropriate office space accommodations, including ICT equipment, CDC directory listing/updates, and signage. Submit building/office maintenance repair requests via CDC IFMS system. Follow up to ensure satisfactory completion. Obtain office keys from CDC locksmith. Support and serve as NCAMS Coordinator for DGHP Teams/Branch and Field offices. Assist in travel preparation: secure reservations, flights, rental cars, etc., enter domestic and international travel orders in CDC’s CONCUR system, monitor travel orders, and coordinate with Omega Travel Office, DGHP travel staff, and Global Travel Office as necessary to ensure timely processing. Prepare and submit travel vouchers. Serve as Integrated Conference Attendance Portal (CAMS) POC for DGHP/OD and supported staff. Review travel requests for CAMS approval, obtain required information, and input attendance requests as necessary. Track approvals in advance of departure date.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities. Ability to learn and become proficient in use of the CDC automated administrative systems. Ability to analyze administrative problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions. Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to interact and provide assistance to government staff and customers around the world with courtesy and professionalism. Critical thinking skills and attention to detail and deadlines. Strong organization and professional maturity. Strong work ethic, flexibility, optimism, creativity and personal motivation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various team members. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant field. Minimum three (3) years of experience performing listed tasks.
