into the
United States Army
and As a Mortuary Affairs Specialist, you'll draw upon specialized medical training and the upmost respect and compassion to handle the remains and personal effects of soldiers who have fallen in the line of duty. This includes locating and identifying remains in the field, ensuring safe transport of the deceased and their belongings, and assisting with arrangements and military honors at their burial site. You will also inventory and safeguard effects and serve as a specialist at the U.S. Army’s Central Identification Laboratory in Hawaii. This is not a civilian contractor position.
Requirements
No experience necessary. Position is entry level.
A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card 17 to 34 Years Old High School Diploma or GED Meet Tattoo Guidelines No Major Law Violations No Medical Concerns
Testing & Certifications
14 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available 10 weeks of Basic Training 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training 88 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM)
