Overview
Under Armour Licensing is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive Outbound License Partner marketing and our Youth businesses on behalf of the Brand. The Manager will lead the youth and license partner marketing strategy and go-to-market execution, collaborating with License Partners and internal UA teams to align on strategy and obtain approvals. The ideal candidate has a strong marketing and/or project management background, understands Brand/Product marketing approval processes, and is comfortable establishing new processes. This role requires leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Partner with licensees to drive their marketing strategy and budget in alignment with UA’s inline marketing strategy. Contribute to the overall brand strategy across the outbound licensing portfolio. Manage full marketing life-cycle: deliver seasonal direction, measure impact, and iterate across both outbound licensing and youth businesses. Review licensee marketing budget allocations quarterly (or as needed) to approve spending and ensure budgets are used per contract. Share inline marketing strategy, campaigns, branding guidelines, and assets with licensees. Publish licensing branding guidelines regularly and ensure timely access to imagery, copy, and related files. Lead with a global point of view while balancing local market needs with the global Under Armour strategy. Project Management Of Licensee Marketing Materials Approvals
Establish and document new processes to expand and globalize the licensing business while delivering Brand-right, locally relevant messaging. Align stakeholders across HQ, Region, and Country on processes and deliverables. Guide licensees through content production that is Brand-right for regions/wholesale partners across marketing formats (print, digital, OOH, in-store, social, paid search, etc.). Ensure timelines and approvals are met and materials meet Brand standards. Drive reviews and approvals for all marketing content (photoshoots, videos, catalogs, POP, copy, packaging, etc.) with internal stakeholders. Integrate licensing products into relevant marketing timelines, consumer journeys, photoshoots, seeding, where applicable. Optimize DTC activation and execution (PDP assets, grid page disruption, guided selling, email marketing, etc.). Collaborate with Product, Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, Packaging, Sustainability, Legal, and other teams to ensure cross-departmental alignment. Operate independently in a highly entrepreneurial environment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Project Management experience Partner Management experience Negotiation & Influence Ability to multi-task across categories & functions Strong English communication and presentation skills; knowledge of another language is a plus Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, business materials, and technical procedures Ability to write reports and business correspondence and present to all levels ROMI/ROAS, discounts, margins, CAGR analysis skills Ability to apply marketing campaign analysis and strategic planning concepts Problem definition, prioritization, and data-driven decision making Minimum 5 years in marketing and/or project management; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in a matrix environment and/or global responsibility is a plus Workplace Location
