Hexcel is currently seeking a

Sr. Sourcing Specialist

for our

Salt Lake City, UT

location. Other possible locations for this role: Kent or Burlington, WA; Casa Grande, AZ. Support sourcing operations across U.S. sites by coordinating day-to-day activities and helping meet company sourcing goals. This role also contributes to developing and maintaining strategies for routine commodities used across multiple locations, offering a great opportunity to build procurement experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Washington state Summary pay range: $84,323 - $144,553 annual salary.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier cost, quality and delivery initiatives; manage external material sourcing and support global and regional category strategies.

Conduct and support supplier negotiations in alignment with legal and stakeholder requirements; serve as liaison between site leadership and suppliers to achieve sourcing goals.

Develop and maintain sourcing plans and risk mitigation strategies; scout new suppliers and materials to enhance cost, quality, and risk mitigation.

Monitor supplier performance using KPIs; implement action plans and continuous improvement strategies across sourcing phases and production.

Analyze spend data to inform cost-reduction and service-improvement strategies; report performance and progress to executive leadership and internal stakeholders.

Assist the Sourcing Director and the sourcing team with budget planning and strategic initiatives related to material spend and supplier management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or related field.

3–5 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record in challenging manufacturing environments; aerospace industry experience desired. Background in Chemical sourcing or Engineering a plus.

Proficiency in data analytics for supplier evaluation and spend management.

Green Belt and/or Project Management Certifications preferred.

Familiarity with quality standards: AS9100 and ISO 9001.
