Overview
Vendor Management/Sourcing Analyst
Location: Vienna, VA (Hybrid)
Pay Range: Based on experience
Length: Long Term Contract
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to work in US
Responsibilities
Lead the RFx development, negotiation, and source selection process.
Perform due diligence activities for potential vendors, issue RFxs, conduct price analysis and negotiation, and drive source selection.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Leverage best-in-class practices and sound sourcing processes to drive Total Cost of Ownership initiatives.
Assist in planning and execution of sourcing initiatives that support business goals and strategies.
Collaborate with partners to align sourcing priorities, conduct market research, mitigate issues, and add value through insights.
Prepare, issue, and manage RFPs/RFIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business unit requirements and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Administer the supplier due diligence process including non-disclosure agreements, Source Justification, and intake request triage.
Participate in handoffs with Procurement to ensure effectively negotiated contracts with desirable financial terms and conditions.
Analyze large data sets to ensure objective outcomes.
Maintain relationships with lines of business, team members, management, stakeholders, and external contacts (vendors, etc.).
Collaborate with stakeholder groups (Operations, PVM, EPMO, OGC, Information Security, etc.) to align with Navy Federal's strategy and operations.
Drive partner satisfaction by understanding needs, addressing issues, integrating partners into procurement processes, and building stakeholder relationships.
Support higher-level staff with analyzing business unit requirements for opportunities, supplier recommendations, and acquisition planning.
Assist in source selection activities of pre-qualified vendors, including market analysis to identify sources.
Obtain and analyze vendor performance and delivery data to inform sourcing activities and ensure quality and fairness.
Maintain vendor documentation, including source selection records, supplier performance information, compliance metrics, and value capture results.
Assist in developing product category strategy and researching new options to drive TCO savings and achieve targets.
Perform market data analysis and monitor market conditions for assigned categories.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience preparing and reviewing RFPs, RFIs, and SOWs.
Experience in strategic sourcing, category management, subcontracts management, or procurement.
Experience managing a formalized vendor selection, monitoring, and evaluation process.
Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment; effective decision-making.
Strong prioritization, communication, and presentation skills.
Relationship-building, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
Strong data analytics and data manipulation skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries and building partnerships across functions.
Innovative thinking and data analysis to solve problems and support decision making.
Effective verbal and written communication; proficiency with database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Professional Certification CPSM (preferred).
