Join Pond & Company as a Senior Project Manager in our Environmental Services team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience as an environmental consultant and/or environmental regulatory agent, with preference for renewable energy, oil & gas, transportation, or federal projects. You will oversee staff in Tampa and/or Jacksonville, conducting a wide range of environmental studies such as wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species surveys, NPDES inspections, and Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). You will also be responsible for document production, including technical reports, NEPA documents, and permit applications. As a mentor to our environmental professionals, you will support multidisciplinary projects, interface with clients, and contribute to proposal development. Experience with jurisdictional wetland and water delineations, protected species habitat assessments and surveys, and knowledge of federal, state, and local permitting and mitigation support are required. You will coordinate with interdisciplinary teams of designers and environmental SMEs on infrastructure projects. Experience with clients or projects such as GDOT, FDOT, FDEP, Corps of Engineers, EPA, Energy/ Renewables, or Federal Projects is highly preferred. This position offers the opportunity to lead and collaborate with a diverse team, engage across multiple markets and geographies, and deliver high-quality environmental solutions for a wide range of clients. Responsibilities

Lead ecology field tasks (e.g., water/wetland delineations, protected species surveys, erosion compliance inspections) and prepare associated technical documentation Demonstrate working knowledge of wetland science, flora/fauna and ecosystems of the Southeastern US, and relevant regulatory requirements Travel and conduct field work on project sites with varying conditions; support field work as needed Deliver complete and clean technical documents through excellent technical writing and communication skills Travel as projects require, including occasional overnight stays Collaborate within a team environment and proactively participate in project delivery Possess relevant certifications (e.g., Professional Wetland Scientist, Professional Wildlife Biologist, or Certified Ecologist) when available Learns and grows professionally while contributing to high-quality work Qualifications

BS in a relevant environmental discipline Documented experience leading ecology field tasks and preparing technical documentation Working knowledge of wetland science, Southeastern US ecosystems, and regulatory requirements Ability to travel and perform field work under challenging conditions Strong technical writing and communication skills Willingness to travel as needed Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive, proactive approach Preference for certifications such as Professional Wetland Scientist, Professional Wildlife Biologist, or Certified Ecologist About Pond

Compensation is determined by factors including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. The hiring range is provided with the posting.
