The Celebration Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and delivering exceptional guest experiences by selling and executing social and “micro” celebration events across Food & Beverage outlets and Banquets. This role serves as the primary liaison between guests and hotel operations, ensuring flawless event execution, guest satisfaction, and increased profitability. Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals through prospecting, networking, hosting site visits, and attending industry events. Respond quickly to leads from multiple sources, negotiate contracts, and maximize use of function space and outlets. Drive up selling opportunities for food, beverage, space rental, décor, entertainment, and auxiliary services. Monitor market trends and introduce new offerings to remain competitive and enhance guest engagement. Event Planning & Execution Manage all aspects of celebration events (e.g., proposals, vow renewals, milestone celebrations, romantic dinners) with detailed communication to guests and hotel departments. Prepare and distribute accurate contracts, event orders, resumes, and reports. Coordinate vendor services (floral, décor, entertainment, transportation, etc.) and manage related invoices. Ensure event menus and offerings meet client needs, align with brand standards, and maximize profitability. Prepare accurate estimates and collect deposits in a timely manner. Oversee event logistics, ensuring cost-efficient and high-quality service delivery. Conduct thorough post-event evaluations to measure performance and identify future opportunities. Collaboration & Leadership Partner with Food & Beverage and operational teams to uphold service standards, policies, and procedures. Actively participate in interdepartmental meetings, including pre-event briefings, daily rallies, BEO and Resume meetings. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with peers, vendors, and internal teams. Demonstrate leadership by modeling integrity, professionalism, and sound decision-making. Qualifications & Skills

A post-secondary diploma or degree in a field of study related to this 2 years of experience in a comparable position and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to identify and solve problems. Detailed Events and Food and Beverage knowledge; demonstrated strong leadership and selling skills; and proven achievements in selling, optimizing guest and team member engagement and financial performance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience successfully leading in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing demands. Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation. Professional & appropriate business appearance and demeanor aligned with the 1 Hotel brand and culture. Strong attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, team member relations and leadership abilities. Technically savvy and familiar with Events and Food & Beverage operating/budgeting systems and spreadsheets. Well versed in Events and Food & Beverage financial aspects. Preferred

Fluency in a second language other than English. Knowledge of hotel structure and interaction between departments. Prior experience in a quality luxury hotel, restaurant or event brand; specifically, in Food & Beverage, Events, and/or Banquets. Prior experience with Delphi, HMS, Sevenrooms or similar software.
