Overview
Delivery Consultant - Cloud Security, NAMER. The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Cloud Security Consultant to join AWS. You will work with customers to implement, automate, and manage AWS solutions to protect assets, enable customer security teams, and reduce risk. The role requires a deep understanding of AWS products and services, architecture of complex, scalable, and secure solutions, gathering requirements, assessing current security capabilities, and implementing optimized security controls in AWS. You will advise customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, and manage security risks throughout the project. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team that helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud, working with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud initiatives. We provide offerings to help customers achieve outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption and deliver focused guidance through global specialty practices. Job ID: A3099307 Responsibilities
Solve technical problems independently Collaborate with others to define and implement solutions Escalate risks with options, impact, and recommended solutions Be an established expert in at least 1 technology domain Implement, automate, and manage scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery Basic Qualifications
3+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc. experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent 3+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience, or Bachelor's degree 3+ years of integration, testing and automation experience Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an AWS environment, including VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, SQS, CloudFormation and Lambda AWS Professional level certification, or 1+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby) Experience in information security and compliance Experience working in relevant industries such as law, customer service, investigations, risk, compliance or project management Hands-on technical expertise in building security capabilities in code, deploying infrastructure as code, and implementing enterprise security solutions (e.g. WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM) About The Team
