We are looking for a seasoned, career-minded Heavy Civil Project Manager to join our dynamic management team. The ideal candidate will be a team player, highly motivated, dependable, self-driven, and passionate about delivering excellence in heavy highway construction projects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage civil construction projects according to standards and requirements Oversee project budgets, margins, and financial projections to ensure profitability Develop and update project schedules regularly Maintain quality control, ensuring compliance with designs, standards, and specifications Ensure safety policies are followed, fostering a safety-first culture Manage project documentation and prepare reports for management Coordinate with field management to resolve issues and ensure project success Approve changes in equipment and personnel, and manage subcontractors Organize project staffing, assign roles, and conduct weekly meetings Monitor financial performance and submit payment requisitions Understand contract terms, project milestones, and delays Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in civil heavy/highway projects Proficiency with HeavyJob, BlueBeam, P6 software is a plus Travel Requirements
Local travel during business hours, with some out-of-area and overnight travel. Valid driver’s license required. Benefits
