This opportunity resides with Global Security (GS) Mission Technologies. HII’s Mission Technologies division delivers all-domain expertise and advanced technologies in service of mission partners worldwide. The role is for a Manager Production Planning and Scheduler 1 (MPPS1) to provide leadership for HII- Mission Technologies' CEMAT Mechanical Group, supporting the Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) work package within CEMAT. The selected candidate will interface with upper management, government representatives, Ship’s Force management, NNS, and other groups to ensure work is completed according to quality, technical, and schedule requirements. Location: Newport News, VA. Employment Type: Full Time / Salaried / Exempt. Anticipated Salary Range: $68,323.00 - $90,000.00 per year. Travel: 0 - 10%. Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain. Level of Experience: Management. What You Will Do

Oversee and manage all aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison with management levels including external entities (AIT, NNS, Ship’s Force) and the project team. Track and maintain records on Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) and schedule management. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) for planning and reporting. Develop mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem solving within Team Leads and production teams. Effectively manage diverse teams (electricians, mechanics, pipefitters, welders) responsible for over 4500 line items of repairs. Attend daily coordination meetings to manage objectives, resolve conflicts, and set clear expectations. Adhere to administrative procedures and make recommendations to improve efficiency. Read and interpret complex NAVSEA drawings and incorporate changes as directed by Government and/or Ship’s Force. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, safety, and customer-satisfaction objectives. Demonstrate experience delivering results in a high-pressure environment. What You Must Have

4 years relevant progressive experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with a Master's in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of relevant progressive experience. Management experience overseeing a team and providing assignments while monitoring daily progress of assigned projects. Knowledge of all mechanical trades and trade-designated requirements. Knowledge of schedule production tracking systems such as TSSR, POA&M, and Ship’s Force Integrated Maintenance System (SFIMs). Bonus Points For Having!

Experience directly responsible for mechanical assessments, planning, maintenance, repairs, and final testing of specified systems as directed by Project/Program Management. Experience with motor-driven fire pumps, fire main valves, and related systems. Experience with Aircraft Fuel Stations (JP5), service, transfer, storage, and stripping systems, and related equipment. Experience with warping/mooring & towing capstans, plastic waste processing equipment, shredders, and large/small pumpers. Experience with Hydraulic Actuating Stations on damage control and miscellaneous control systems. Experience assisting with Ship’s Force Work Packages. Physical Requirements
