Job Summary This individual contributor is responsible for supporting data‑informed decisions, collecting data systematically, and preparing data for analytic efforts. The role develops, implements, and automates business and reporting solutions and supports data analysis interpretation.

Essential Responsibilities

Pursues self‑development and effectiveness by proactively providing resources, advice, and expertise, mentoring team members, and adapting to change.

Completes assignments by applying expertise to generate creative solutions, ensuring procedures are followed, collaborating cross‑functionally, and escalating issues or risks appropriately.

Gathers data by validating sources, querying and merging data, completing routine refreshes, and developing tools for electronic data collection while providing user training and documentation.

Prepares data for analytics by consolidating data, reviewing quality and accuracy, profiling inaccuracies, and cleaning and creating final data sets.

Develops, implements, and automates business and reporting solutions by working with stakeholders in design, planning, and implementation while ensuring consistency and coherence, summarizing data and results, and preparing documentation as appropriate.

Supports data analysis interpretation by applying findings to contextual settings and developing reports and presentations to influence decision making.

Supports data‑informed decisions by consulting with clients to clarify business needs, developing outcomes and process measures, translating requirements, determining data needs, developing analysis plans, measuring impact, and documenting processes and deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field and minimum three (3) years experience in data analytics or a directly related field. Additional equivalent work experience may substitute the degree requirement.

One (1) year regulatory experience

One (1) year experience working in a matrixed organization

One (1) year project management experience

Two (2) years experience working with quality management and data profiling tools

Two (2) years text analytics experience

Two (2) years experience working with SPSS

Two (2) years experience working with SAS

Two (2) years experience working with SQL

Two (2) years statistical modeling experience

Two (2) years study design experience

Two (2) years programming experience

Two (2) years experience working with statistical analysis software

Two (2) years experience working with data extraction and manipulation language

Two (2) years experience working with data visualization tools

Two (2) years experience working with Open Source Tools (e.g., R, Python)

Two (2) years experience working with Tableau

Two (2) years experience working with Excel

Location and Schedule

Primary Location: Georgia, Atlanta – Regional Office – 10 Piedmont

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32

Shift: Day

Workdays: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri

Working Hours Start: 08:00 AM

Working Hours End: 05:00 PM

Pay Range: $62,960 – $81,400 per year (including total rewards package)

Travel: Yes, 10% of the time

Flexible: Work location is on‑site at a KP location, with the flexibility to work from home. Worker location must align with Kaiser Permanente's Authorized States policy.
