KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Logistics Analyst, Journeyman to join our team.

This position will perform full life cycle material management in the areas of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling. Candidate will interface with GPLs and Government client organizations to coordinate and complete all project processes from requirements through disposal.

Responsibilities

Assists in the development and or review of ILS planning analysis and strategies for supported systems, documentation and schedules considering geographic areas of deployment, equipment requirements, supportability, equipment/material availability, procurement lead-times, inventory, and stocking requirements.

Review, update, or prepare a range of Life Cycle Logistics documents (e.g., Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Logistics Support Analysis records, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans).

Evaluate technical documents—such as engineering change proposals, operational logistics support plans, configuration management plans, technical order manuals, training support packages, integrated support logistics plans, data plans, and procurement plans—to ensure compliance with program objectives and plans.

Assess engineering change proposal (ECP) process workflows from sponsor submission through approval, procurement, testing, and installation.

Support developmental assignments across system life cycle phases, delivering logistics management and operational program analysis.

Analyze system and equipment performance data to identify and resolve technical or procedural gaps.

Define integrated supportability requirements during system engineering to ensure logistics considerations are embedded in the acquisition process.

Participate in system requirements and design reviews, identifying and integrating logistics support needs.

Ensure logistics provisions are appropriately planned, developed, and executed to identify, prevent, and correct unsatisfactory conditions throughout the lifecycle.

Assist Integrated Product Team (IPT) members in specifying requirements for funding, manpower, material, facilities, and services to support program objectives.

Plan, develop, implement, and manage comprehensive, cost‑effective systems support strategies.

Develop, specify, manage, plan, review, and apply ILS elements, principles, disciplines, procedures, and requirements in line with production acceptance standards.

Qualifications

Familiarity with DoD supply chain and material management practices and policies.

Strong Skills in Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, SharePoint, Word & PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Product Support Management, Integrated Logistics Support, Supply Support.

Maintenance Planning & Management.

Ability to travel up to 10% to Gov’t inventory locations.

Ability to execute with accuracy, precision, and attention to detail.

Strong documentation and presentation skills.

Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

At least 3 years of relevant experience

Clearance This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.
