Overview
The FSQA Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the FSQA Department including the FSQA Analysts and Technicians on all shifts and assists the QA Manager in ensuring all food safety and quality programs are accomplished in a thorough and timely manner. The FSQA Supervisor also completes special projects as assigned by the plant FSQA Manager. Company

Verification of the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. Verification of HACCP Programs for the plant. Supervise and assist FSQA Technicians in their daily duties. Manage and document daily product slicing. Ensure Label Requirements are met for all bags and boxes. Administer the Micro and Environmental Programs. Review and monitor all in Plant Programs relating to FSQA. Cover for the FSQA Manager in his/her absence. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a food science or related discipline; at least five (5) years of work experience. A mixture of education and experience equivalent to the above may substitute. Must be HACCP trained or be able to attend a training course. Serve Safe Manager Certification SQF or any other GFSI Scheme certification desired. Auditor Certification preferred (i.e. American Society for Quality – Certified HACCP Auditor, Certified Quality Auditor) Must be able to work in both warm and cold environments. Must be able to work in a meat, cheese or condiment processing environments (wet, presence of blood and meat juices, loud noises, various olfactory conditions, etc.). Must be able to travel and assist in auditing venues with manager. Travel is less than 40%. Location
