Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team. Foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance. Customer Experience: Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Sales & Performance: Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Financial Management: Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and revenue. Marketing & Community Engagement: Implement local marketing initiatives and build relationships with the community to enhance brand presence and attract customers. Innovation & Problem-Solving: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions. Additional duties as required. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences. Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications. Minimum Requirements:
Assistant Store Manager: Open availability, including mornings, days, and nights; minimum 5 days/week; average 44 hours/week, increased during peak periods. Supervisor: Availability during store hours; minimum 5 days/week; at least 30 hours/week. All Management: Availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality; reliable transportation; clear English communication; ability to read/write English and perform basic math; may need to move between locations. Physical Demands:
Prolonged standing (5-14 hours/day). Work during peak periods (long hours). Stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders/stairs. Lifting 5-25 lbs regularly. Good vision, including color differentiation. Moderately noisy retail environment. Education:
High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years retail leadership preferred; or equivalent experience and education. The requirements and physical demands are representative of those needed to perform this role successfully. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities. Must be at least 18 years old. Compensation:
Assistant Manager: $18.38 - $21.50/hour + bonus opportunities based on KPIs. Supervisor: $18.50/hour.
