2:30pm-11:00pm
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Determines method of shipment. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. Inserts proper items into containers/boxes/crates. Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with strapping. Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Accurately count contents of received products and parts. Maintain receiving/shipping records as outlined in our procedures. Routes items to departments and personnel. Data entry in systems such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies to insure adequate supplies are on hand to meet production needs. Regularly use hand tools in a safe manner. Such tools include but are not limited to: hand saws, drills, box cutters Operates forklift truck or uses hand truck to load / unload merchandise to / from trucks picking up from or delivering shipments to the loading dock. Operates battery operated hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. Operates forklift truck or uses hand truck to move, transfer or transport hazardous materials and/or hazardous wastes to other locations within the facility. Unloads hazardous materials from delivery trucks and loads hazardous wastes to trucks for shipment to appropriate disposal facilities in accordance with DOT and RCRA regulations. Adhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards Regular and reliable attendance General maintenance and housekeeping

The purpose of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk II is to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.
Education And Work Experience
The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping software (preferred) Computer Literate Able to read/write in English
The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required or preferred for this position are:

The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are:
Familiarity with OSHA regulations Attention to detail for accuracy Experience with corporate ERP software Forklift certification or experience preferred but not required Good verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and procedures
