Assist Project Managers and Sales Professionals in planning, executing, and monitoring high‑voltage electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects. Duties & Responsibilities
Review cost, schedule, safety, quality, and completion of construction projects with the Project Manager. Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure material is expedited and received as needed. Assist in preparing and maintaining cash flows, monthly billing, and change orders. Maintain monthly construction progress reports, re‑projections, and files. Create and maintain schedules to support the project. Develop project estimates and pricing. Support sales organization in proposal preparation and sales calls. Resolve inter‑group conflicts and delays to meet construction goals. Work effectively with all divisions including Dacon, Field Service, Engineering, and Sales. Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field. Three years of experience in design, construction, or operations of substations and/or transmission lines. Three years of experience supervising/ managing budgets and work groups. Demonstrated understanding of substations, substation control, and transmission systems. Understanding of financial aspects of project controls. Interpersonal, technical, organizational, and leadership skills. Able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Ability to negotiate and influence key decision makers. Technical writing skills and understanding of business management concepts. Computer proficient: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Microsoft Project and Primavera experience strongly preferred.
