Overview The Director of Family Office Services plays a strategic leadership role in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive wealth management and family office services to ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth families. This individual coordinates across investment advisory, tax planning, estate planning, philanthropic strategy, and lifestyle management to ensure client needs are met with professionalism and discretion.

Base pay and location Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Location: New York, New York

Employment type: Full-Time

Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in Accounting; CPA preferred

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, CPA, or CFP) preferred.

10+ years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a multi-family office environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and multi-generational planning.

Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.

Deep understanding of investment strategies, estate planning, tax structuring, and family governance.

High level of discretion, integrity, and a client-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to client families, overseeing and integrating all aspects of their financial and personal affairs.

Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team including investment professionals, tax and legal advisors, and client service staff.

Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring proactive communication, customized service, and long-term relationship building.

Develop and implement tailored wealth management strategies, including investment oversight, estate planning, risk management, and generational wealth transfer.

Oversee operations related to accounting, reporting, and compliance to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Coordinate with external advisors to ensure all aspects of a client\'s financial plan are aligned.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction.

Drive business development through referrals, networking, and maintaining an excellent reputation within the UHNW space.
