Overview
We are seeking a
Quality Manager
to lead our quality assurance and quality control efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes. This role will play a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction, product reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the quality assurance and quality control functions within the organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements (AS9100, ISO, FAA, etc.).
Conduct internal and external audits to monitor adherence to quality systems.
Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain to resolve nonconformities and improve processes.
Oversee root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Manage supplier quality performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and defect prevention.
Serve as the customer-facing representative for quality-related issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline.
7+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and related quality management systems.
Proven experience with audits, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and statistical analysis.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Preferred Skills
Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing industries.
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
Strong analytical skills with experience in SPC (Statistical Process Control).
Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
