Job Description & Duties In accordance with CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies. PLEASE NOTE: All relevant work experience, skills sets, and professional qualifications must be listed on the STD. 678. Under the direction of the Supervising Oil and Gas Engineer, the Senior Oil and Gas Engineer (Supervisor) directly supervises technical staff responsible for the safe operation of production and injection wells and facilities, including underground gas storage facilities (UGS); supervised staff will conduct inspections and witness tests for wells, facilities, and pipelines, state abandonment operations and implement Division’s environmental protection programs within the district.
