Overview
The Supply Chain Senior Manager oversees supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in procurement, inventory management, and distribution to meet organizational goals. This position contributes to the overall success of the organization through the following activities and as further delineated by management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals and market dynamics Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team across procurement, logistics, planning, and inventory functions Optimize end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and improve supply chain performance Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance and compliance Oversee demand forecasting, inventory planning, and materials management Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, finance, and other departments to align supply chain activities with business needs (SIOP) Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and sustainability requirements in supply chain operations Implement and maintain supply chain technologies and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS) Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, geopolitical issues, and market volatility Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction, quality enhancement, and lead time reduction Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred) 8–12+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Strong knowledge of supply chain management systems, ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data analytics tools Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budget management, and process optimization Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Seniority level
