What to Expect

As a Tool and Die specialist you are responsible for designing, fabricating, assembling, and repairing high-quality tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent craftsmanship, a strong understanding of metalworking, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure optimal performance of tools and dies. Shift: 3:15PM-1:45AM; Monday - Friday What You'll Do

Build and assemble new tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to meet engineering specifications Support the design and implementation of tooling changes to accommodate part modifications Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot issues related to tooling or manufacturing processes Conduct rigorous testing and inspection of tools and dies to ensure conformance with quality standards Document findings and maintain accurate records of tooling projects and repairs What You'll Bring

5+ years of hands-on experience with Class A Tool and Die Manufacturing Apprenticeship certification in Tool & Die or equivalent experience Proficiency in operating machine tools (manual and CNC) Strong knowledge of metallurgy, heat treatment, and material properties Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal Essential Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day on varied and uneven terrain including concrete surfaces Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day Must be able to frequently and repetitively lift/carry 30 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. infrequently Frequently and repetitively push heavy carts and dollies The ability to carry up to 20 lbs. up and down flights of stairs multiple times a day Ability to drive cars & trucks back and forth while being outside of the factory for up to 12 hours/day Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures while bearing hand tools on their person. For example, climbing ladders while wearing a tool belt Ability to identify issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing Follow all safety rules and guidelines including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing the above-mentioned activities Ability to correctly wear respiratory protection such as half and full-face respirators, if required, for up to 12 hours/day Ability to perform the above-mentioned activities while working in outdoor weather conditions Compensation and Benefits
