The Manufacturing Customer Integration Specialist coordinates and integrates projects between the customer and Simplot’s core business processes (S&OP, Operations, Logistics, Technical Services, New Product Development, Finance, and Legal). This role facilitates information flow between Simplot and contract manufacturing customers across business functions and serves as the primary point of contact with the account. The position is responsible for managing and delivering day-to-day interactions with customers. Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Collaborate with Simplot technical, operations, quality systems, research & innovation, and internal portfolio commercialization teams to deliver value to the customer and Simplot. Support innovation initiatives to grow the business and relationship with customers. Optimize resources to drive desired outcomes. Sales and Operations Integration: Coordinate with Customer Demand Planning to understand Annual Planning Commitments for volume. Work with Simplot PPIC to ensure timely delivery of product and monitor penalties for underperformance relative to the four-week firm order forecast. Track New Product introduction, status, and results. Track and report priority core product changes and new product development/introduction. Implement efficient and consistent administrative processes, systems, and guidelines within the Global Food Group and Simplot Corporate Departments. Financial/Budget: Support financial budgets and monitor compliance with negotiated long-term supply agreements. Implement systems and processes to ensure profitable margins on all products. Communicate financial learnings to team members to improve performance. Collaborate with and advise the finance and accounting partner assigned to the Business Unit. Typical Education
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university Relevant Experience
5+ years related experience and/or training Required Certifications
PMP (preferred but not required) Other Information
Strong business and financial acumen and analytical capability Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence without authority Proficient in project management Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs Analytical skills with the ability to use complex data to identify insights, trends, opportunities and customer solutions Ability to travel 10% of the time Job Details
