as a Project Manager for Capital Projects & Construction. In this role you will manage the full life cycle of engineering and construction projects within the Nuclear Fuel Services (NFS) division, ensuring that development tasks and facility installations are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Location:
Onsite – Erwin, TN
Responsibilities
A team member on any project irrespective of contract value; can lead projects with value up to $1M.
May act Deputy PM and be able to take over for PM at certain stage of the project.
Builds rapport and gains respect from people with varied experience and background.
May supervise several project personnel to achieve project objectives.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Lead responsibilities and “point of contact” for large projects involving multiple technical disciplines or multi‑functional interfaces.
Provide interface with NFS Management, customers, off‑site customers, and regulatory agencies.
Review and recommend materials and equipment specifications for designing and installing processing and utility equipment.
Provide technical supervision of NFS and contract engineers and designers assigned to projects.
Provide engineering studies, analyses, designs, cost estimates and schedules, as required.
Guides, directs, and consults with and oversees A/E firms and construction contractors as required to fulfill assigned projects.
Reviews plant operations and recommends changes that will improve cost effectiveness and/or improve worker safety.
Specifies design standards in accordance with NEC, ISA, NFS and other standards as appropriate.
Other assignments as deemed appropriate by supervisory management.
Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering or Technical discipline, or 12 years’ experience with 2 years’ experience in at least two of: Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Project Controls, Legal, Procurement & 6 years related project experience.
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong critical thinking skills.
Recent experience as a project engineer with experience as a nuclear project engineering manager preferred.
Experience in technical industrial environments is required with experience in a nuclear environment preferred.

Pay:
$98,000 – $154,000 per year. Base salary is based on local market factors and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
