Senior Life Safety Systems (LSS) Drafter / BIM Designer We're looking for a Senior Life Safety Systems (LSS) Drafter / BIM Designer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. This is a hybrid position and the ideal candidate be based in Austin, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Portland, OR or Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

Senior Life Safety Systems (LSS) Drafter / BIM Designer responsibilities include creating complex 3D model packages in coordination with multi-disciplinary engineers and design leads.

Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create a 3D model space in coordination with architects and engineers.

Assist designers with layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security and Intrusion detection systems.

Qualifications

Senior Life Safety Systems (LSS) Drafter / BIM Designer experience.

3-5 years of systems design experience.

Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.

Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and manufacturer’s equipment.

Autodesk Certification Professional ACP or other drafting technologies certifications.
