Position Overview

Associate Electro‑Mechanical Engineer
to help us create the future of flight.
Responsibilities
Assist in all phases of development from proposal through successful design, qualification, integration, flight testing, and production.
Follow documented processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of parts/assemblies.
Assist with the design, development, fabrication, and integration of vehicle subsystems, selecting the best design solutions for system layouts, electronics packaging, wire harnessing and component selection.
Provide support throughout the design, procurement and testing of avionics components.
Design electrical and avionics hardware including mounting shelves and brackets, antenna and lighting installations, electronics enclosures/packaging, and wire harness design and routing.
Analyze the avionics hardware installations with respect to stress, fatigue, thermal, vibration, and electrical bonding concerns.
Generate high‑quality engineering documentation and designs.
Support component and aircraft level development and certification to military and commercial standards.
Participate in aircraft ground and flight test campaigns, assisting with test setup, monitoring, and data analysis.
Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to contribute to innovative and efficient design solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Must be a US Person.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM field.
Preferred Requirements
Familiarity with 3D design and CAD tools (Catia preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
Demonstrated engineering aptitude, critical thinking, and comfort with ambiguity.
Relevant education and/or experience in aviation/aircraft systems, electrical installations, avionics installations, antenna installations, military vehicle electronics, wire routing, wire harness design, electrical part design, secondary structure design, electrical bonding, lightning and RF energy considerations, thermal, vibration, stress analysis, electric propulsion design.
Software knowledge of Catia V5, Catia V5 Electrical Workbench, SolidWorks.
Effective communication, written and verbal, working collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams.
Ability to analyze and resolve hardware/software integration issues.
Ability to use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Experience with UAVs and aerospace systems.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work on‑site weekly.
Ability to lift 22 pounds (preferred).
Salary Range (Annualized USD)
Minimum: $61,000.00 – $108,000.00 per year.
Maximum: $61,000.00 – $108,000.00 per year.
