The Clackamas site is committed to driving innovation and operational excellence to supply consumer-ready dietary supplements in the probiotic, enzyme, and botanical categories. We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Production Manager to lead the Manufacturing Function for the Blending, Encapsulation, and Washroom work centers. This position requires a person passionate about efficiently creating high-quality products, continuous improvement, and safety. The manager will ensure resources are aligned to meet financial and business goals, influence and shape strategy, and participate in setting growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives. The role involves leading a manufacturing team of approximately 35 employees, fostering a collaborative and learning culture that excels in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Product Quality, Productivity, and New Product/Process Integration. The manager oversees activities related to the washroom, maintaining food safety and product quality standards, with operations running 24/5 across three shifts, possibly including weekends. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management, performance, and growth of manufacturing operations, building strong relationships with staff and leadership, and preparing teams for operational excellence. Essential Functions Supervise, coach, develop, and inspire production line leaders to meet safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost targets. Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, and professionalism aligned with company values. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Align activities and processes across shifts. Improve process reliability, identify productivity gains, and implement policy updates. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, sanitation, and GMP standards. Promote a culture of quality standards, SOPs, and cGMP adherence. Act as a change agent within manufacturing operations. Manage production line capacity to ensure supply chain agility and customer satisfaction. Lead a culture of collaboration and transparency, influencing internal stakeholders. Oversee departmental budget, staffing, and employee development. Manage washroom operations, including cleaning activities and process optimization, and develop protocols for the washroom. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred). Experience in food or dietary supplement production is a plus. At least 5 years of leadership in a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to support division objectives and lead change. Excellent communication skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Ability to work under pressure. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP, and data management tools. Legal right to work in the U.S. and pass pre-employment screening.
