We’re looking for an Engineering Manager who wants to build something extraordinary. Our team is creating an AI-powered video editor that lets people mix stock footage, AI-generated content, and their own material to make videos quickly. Think: Hollywood meets hackathon. You’ll guide a talented group of full-stack engineers, scale systems for the future of video, mentor engineers, and push the boundaries of generative AI. Lead & Elevate : Grow, coach, and mentor a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, curiosity, and collaboration.

Set the Technical Bar High : Partner with the Lead Principal Engineer to oversee architectures spanning generative AI, cloud infrastructure, and full-stack development.

Own the Roadmap : Collaborate with Product, Program Management, Design, and Engineering leaders to turn ambitious ideas into scalable products.

Embrace Innovation : Champion new tools and technologies, especially in generative AI and video editing, to advance the product.

Bridge Teams : Align engineering, design, and customer support so customer-facing features feel effortless.

Deliver with Confidence : Drive operational excellence with processes that ensure speed, quality, and reliability at scale.

What You’ll Bring:

3+ years of experience managing product-oriented engineering teams.

Strong full-stack background (TypeScript, React, Node.js).

Experience with LLMs or generative AI models in production.

Familiarity with Agile, Git/SVN, CI/CD, and release management.

Ability to balance leadership with hands-on contributions when needed.

Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and translating requirements into technical solutions.

Exceptional people leadership skills—mentoring, guiding, scaling, and delegating.

Excellent communication and project management skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong track record of managing multiple priorities from inception to launch.
