As the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a manufacturing team and overseeing daily operations and production processes for the facility in Olathe, KS. You will hire, train, motivate employees, drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensure a safe and clean working environment, and prioritize on-time delivery, quality control, inventory management, and financial commitments. The successful candidate will have strong leadership abilities and a passion for operational excellence. What You Can Expect in This Role (Job Responsibilities)

Supervisory leadership: provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing team, ensuring productivity, collaboration, and a positive working environment; promote open communication and a culture of trust and engagement; participate in recruitment and onboarding; support training and development; conduct performance discussions and corrective actions; organize department workflow and communicate objectives; act as point of contact for employee concerns with HR partnership. Safety: promote and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines, conducting inspections, and addressing issues; ensure tools and equipment are safe and functional; assist in safety investigations; oversee cleanliness and organization; champion safety and risk identification. Production execution: collaborate with production planning and logistics to prioritize schedules, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery; implement and monitor quality control procedures; coordinate inspections with the quality team; optimize inventory management; understand production schedules and labor requirements; manage direct and indirect labor goals; control scrap; follow standard operating procedures. Continuous improvement and documentation: use ERP and other technology to prepare reports for planning and performance monitoring; maintain production, inventory, safety, and personnel records; create KPI reports; identify opportunities for process improvement; implement lean manufacturing principles; participate in related projects. What We Are Looking For (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

Required Experience

At least 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Experience attracting, retaining, motivating, and developing high-performing, diverse teams Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (assembly, welding/machining, quality control) Knowledge of health and safety regulations Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing Proficiency with manufacturing software and ERP systems for inventory management and production planning Knowledge of HVAC industry Ability to build effective partnerships with leaders; excellent communication; ability to motivate, supervise, and train hourly employees Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines; proficiency with Microsoft Office Education & Certifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred Travel & Working Environment

Onsite Plant environment; may be exposed to weather, heat, and noise Physical Demands
