Security Officer – DoD Clearance

Position Overview Full-time, hourly rate $19.17 / hr. The officer conducts patrols, verifies access, and first‑responds to incidents. Specialized training in site‑specific security protocols is provided by the company.
Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
Conduct foot, bicycle, or vehicle patrols to protect people, assets, and classified information.
Greet guests and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
Follow site performance manuals and orders; report safety concerns and security breaches in written and oral communication to client and security personnel.
Respond to and assess security and emergency alarms.
Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
Qualifications (must have)
High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
Department of Defense (DoD) clearance at a position appropriate level.
State or local licensing requirements may be required before employment.
Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a DoD‑cleared site, or prior military experience.
Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)
Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
