Job Description

Functional Requirements: Test-Execution Service

Deploy a testing engineer/specialist who can follow provided scripts and log results in defect-management tools (e.g. JIRA, ServiceNow)

Support iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, HMI (SYNC4), web portals, and dealer systems.

Provide own smartphones and laptops; provides vehicles, pre-production hardware, credentials, software access (i.e. Smartsheet, TestRail, JIRA) and facility access.

Coordination & Reporting – Attend daily stand-ups (remote or on-site).

Supply defect triage support within four (4) business hours of request.

On-Site Execution – Conduct Detroit-based vehicle interaction tests for at least 30 % of total test hours during each peak window.

Optional Scope (Priced Separately)

Author new E2EET test cases based on emergent journeys.

Deliverables

Test Execution Log (daily) – 100 % of executed cases and defect IDs captured in the tool as passed, failed, or blocked status.

Defect Detail Packages (as-found) – Reproduction steps, environment, and video/screenshot/photo/screen recording complete.

Cycle-Exit Summary (per project) – Coverage, pass/fail %, defects, and PDCA recommendations reviewed/approved by Senior Test Manager.

Optional New Test Cases – Reviewed by Senior Test Manager and uploaded to the tool (only for exceptional circumstances).

Senior Associate – 4+ years in IT; 2 years in testing

Education Required

Test Engineer must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, computer science or a closely related field.
