Less than 5% Position Summary We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and refinement of mechanical components and systems. This role involves creating detailed models and drawings, performing engineering analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with design teams to understand mechanical requirements and applications Conduct research to determine appropriate engineering methods Develop mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D modeling software Run simulations and testing to validate design concepts Support prototype development and oversee manufacturing handoff Document the design process, test results, and engineering decisions Manage timelines, resources, and project milestones Coordinate with other engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure design integrity Prepare technical documentation including specifications and manuals Stay current on industry trends and engineering best practices Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 3+ years of experience in mechanical design Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design methodologies Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to continuous improvement Ability to stay informed on emerging technologies and design innovations Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off (PTO) and holidays Seniority level
