Primary Responsibilities
Conduct complex urban stormwater collection systems modeling; conduct open-channel hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; collect, assimilate and present data in reports, memos and public forums Lead production of design calculations and technical reports; lead preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of green infrastructure, urban stormwater measures, flood control facilities, floodplain improvements, ecological restoration/rehabilitations, sustainable design, and stormwater conveyance systems Perform project/task management; participate in multidisciplinary design coordination meetings; lead and mentor junior staff; present work in public forums such as workshops, conferences, and community meetings Work independently in addition to planning, organizing and assisting groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/task Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications
MS degree A minimum of 8+ years of experience in stormwater and/or urban water resources engineering projects Software experience with XP-SWMM, PC-SWMM, HydroCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, ESRI ArcGIS Pro, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS Preference given to local candidates Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or equivalent field Previous experience in water resources engineering projects Professional Engineer (PE) license Excellent oral and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe
