Overview
Position: Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. You are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept environment including parking areas, restrooms, and floors. You should maintain a positive attitude to help ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. Responsibilities
Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. This includes conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting, handling and disposal of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management. Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures, guidelines, methods, and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment. Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the company Environmental Sustainability Program. Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate stock, store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies as needed. Support a positive member experience by creating a welcoming first and last impression. What You’ll Do
