Our Service Technicians are one of the most important roles in our dealerships. Ferman Service Departments function on a team-based system where you'll work simultaneously alongside other team members on a single vehicle with the goal of providing our Guests accurate auto service and repair, on time and within budget. Today’s vehicles are technological marvels. Servicing these vehicles requires an interest in computer diagnostics and cutting-edge technology as vehicles become more intelligent and complex. Keeping vehicles operating at peak performance and providing a best-in-class Guest service experience is key to success in this position. You’ll continually learn and grow your career path with opportunities for advancement and earning specialization certifications within our vehicle brands. Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on passenger vehicles and light trucks Diagnose and repair drivability issues, engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems Use GM diagnostic tools (GDS2, Tech2, MDI) and service information systems (SI) Document repairs and communicate effectively with service advisors Ensure customer vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently Maintain ongoing training and standards education as required by Ferman and the manufacturer for certifications Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as an automotive technician (B Level or equivalent) Strong familiarity with GM vehicle systems and diagnostics Valid driver’s license and clean driving record ASe certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain) GM training or certification a major plus EV experience a plus Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test About Ferman
