$65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr American Landmark is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Area Maintenance Supervisor to support our amazing Dallas assets!
As Area Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for traveling to various communities as needed to perform maintenance duties including but not limited to installing, repairing, or servicing property or machinery and ensuring timely turnaround time for leasing units.
This position will work with the Regional Maintenance Supervisors coordinating and managing all necessary project resources from start to finish on time and within budget in a highly collaborative environment.
Area Maintenance Supervisors are eligible for bonuses of up $1,000 based on make ready status and work order completion!
Responsibilities
Responsible for apartment preparation of vacant rooms, including paint/caulk, shampooing carpets, and other electrical, plumbing and carpentry work as needed. Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy. Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or American Landmark. Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and always ensuring a professional appearance and professional attitude. Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or the residents. Responsive, courteous, and efficient in the handling of all resident requests. Responsible for thorough knowledge of American Landmark's Policies and Procedures and the property Community Policies. Be aware of and always operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards. Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development. Attend necessary training courses as required for this position. Acquire certifications as needed and attend seminars/classes as they enhance the position. Other projects and responsibilities as may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications
3 years Maintenance experience, preferably in an apartment setting or equivalent. 1-2 years supervisory experience. Refrigeration certification and basic business finance knowledge is preferred. Ability to coordinate weekly on-call schedules and participate based on a pre-determined rotating schedule. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Basic computer skills and a strong set of customer service skills. Hands-on / Working Supervisor Organized & Detail Oriented HVAC Certified Experience in supervising a staff & vendors Irrigation knowledge Turn schedule creation & oversight Purchasing and inventory control Ability to obtain, review and make recommendations tied to Capital Projects Above average communication skills necessary. Bilingual (Spanish) written and spoken a plus!
