This role resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Job Description

The RF Test Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are conducted at all levels of the total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. The engineer will apply testing philosophies and methodologies within an agile test environment and will employ test assets to meet customer-driven objectives. Essential Job Responsibilities

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Translates customer requirements into hardware and software specifications through functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies. Ensures logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Communicates effectively to translate requirements into total system solutions that meet technical objectives and constraints. Minimum Qualifications

2 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; or 0 years experience with a Master's in a related field. Interest in Radar or Electronic Warfare System design and/or testing. Tasking includes RF chain analysis and radar system performance analysis, as well as all aspects of test execution. Interest in EW and Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Sensor System Integration and Test, and Electronic Warfare and Radar Performance Analysis Tools such as MATLAB is required. Hands-on test, integration, and verification support across lab facilities requiring skills in algorithms, software, hardware, and networking. Support technical publications in developing test plans, procedures, and reports for customer releases. Support technical and functional leadership through risk identification. Willingness to travel for extended periods; deployment times typically last between two and three weeks. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with advanced security checks. Secret clearance minimum to start. Physical Requirements

Office and industrial environments. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
