Boardwalk Pipelines is hiring a Construction Manager, Growth Projects for our Lafayette, LA office. This role leads a project construction team responsible for growth expansion projects including pipelines, compressor stations, and underground storage and liquid handling facilities. The position reports to the Supervisor of Construction, Growth. Responsibilities

Provide leadership to a project construction team responsible for growth expansion projects (pipelines, compressor stations, underground storage and liquid handling facilities). Collaborate with various BWP groups to scope, plan, construct, and maintain a safe and efficient pipeline system and facilities, ensuring compliance with Company, PHMSA, regulatory, and professional requirements while meeting safety, budget, schedule, and documentation targets. Communicate with internal and external customers to understand requirements and deliver in a cost-effective manner; become knowledgeable of the entire BWP system and coordinate with Field Operations leadership. Maintain an active field presence to drive quality of work, contractor performance, scheduling, reporting, troubleshooting, and provide real-time feedback and forward planning. Oversee third-party vendors, manage costs, and negotiate discrepancies. Ensure timely project completion documentation and as-builts. Participate in planning and constructability reviews during project development and design. Collaborate with Project Management on scoping, estimating, scheduling, quality assurance, RFIs, Change Orders, and other issues to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective execution. Ensure familiarity with BWP construction specs, contract policies, OSHA and safety expectations, and environmental, land, safety, and security requirements; maintain compliance during construction. Must live within 45 minutes of a BWP facility and be willing to travel extensively across the BWP system; long days may be required. Required Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in construction of major growth projects (pipeline, compression, liquid facilities and storage). Progressive thinker with openness to technology improvements. Strong oral/written communication, administrative/organizational and analytical problem-solving skills. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety. Ability to drive change and improve processes; self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong knowledge of industry regulatory codes, standards, and requirements. Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment. Ability to read drawings and interpret/implement BWP construction specs, contract documents, drawings, alignment sheets, line lists, and O&M manuals. Ability to maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; drive to stay current on technology, industry standards, materials, and regulations. Ability to travel for extended periods. Note: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in design, construction and/or operation of natural gas and/or liquid facilities. Project management experience on natural gas and/or liquids maintenance, integrity, and growth projects. Active involvement in industry programs, committees and initiatives. Proficient in contract development, interpretation, and conformance. Required Education

Technology Degree or Certification(s) in a relevant technical field. Preferred Education

B.S. Degree in a technical field. Additional Information
