Responsibilities include developing and implementing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. The role involves driving adoption of new technologies such as automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing software to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality. You will create and analyze 3D model data to optimize manufacturing processes and digital work instructions, evaluate equipment performance including IoT devices, and use factory data for statistical process control and continuous improvement. Providing input to product design for optimal manufacturing techniques is also part of the role. Qualifications include experience working cross-functionally in manufacturing environments, familiarity with fabrication, assembly, machining, electrical disciplines, and experience with lean manufacturing, process improvements, and MES systems like SAP or MRP. The role requires experience with manufacturing sub-systems such as hydraulics, electrical, power, fuel, ECS, landing gear, or avionics, and proficiency with Catia V5.
