Responsibilities
Collaborate with design and construction teams to guide building projects from planning to performance. Visit job sites across the U.S. to test systems and troubleshoot performance and installation issues. Review system designs and equipment submittals to ensure alignment with the owner’s goals. Create testing procedures and commissioning plans tailored to each project. Use hands-on field equipment to perform system testing and diagnostics. Assemble project closeout documents. Explore additional NORESCO services such as energy audits and retro-commissioning, decarbonization and building electrification, building controls, testing and balancing, and building certifications (LEED, Green Globes, WELL, etc.). Travel up to 50%. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in building commissioning, building systems, or facilities. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, or Construction related. Knowledge of HVAC, energy codes (IECC), or LEED commissioning. Interest in or working toward commissioning certifications (e.g., CBCP or BCA CxP). Familiarity with ASHRAE and commissioning tools/software. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Curious, hands-on learners with a passion for sustainability. Pay and Benefits
