Mid-Level Civil/Structural Overhead Transmission Line Engineer POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is currently seeking a Mid-Level Transmission Line Engineer to work in the Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Department based in our Minneapolis, Minnesota office location. This opportunity offers the ability to work remotely based on a mutually acceptable location within the state of Minnesota. Employees may travel to the POWER office for periodic meetings. Responsibilities

Prepare and review engineering deliverables in support of overhead transmission line projects:

PLS-CADD model PLS-POLE models Project design criteria Steel pole loading calculations and drawings Engineering drawings and specifications Foundation designs and drawings Bill of materials

Provide mentorship and guidance to others. Perform detailed engineering reviews of the work submitted by others Coordinate regularly with the Project Engineer to ensure project scope, budget, and quality expectations are met Required Education/Experience

Civil (BSCE) degree from an accredited university Experience in the design of overhead High Voltage and Extra High Voltage transmission lines including route selection, conductor, OHGW and OPGW selection, line and structure spotting, structure design and analysis, foundation design and analysis, procurement specification development and development of construction bid packages PLS-CADD / PLS-POLE experience Foundation design experience using industry software (RISA, L-PILE, FAD etc.) Two (2) or more years' experience in transmission line design as outlined above Engineer in Training (EIT) registration is required The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to communicate effectively with internal team members and external client personnel Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite Desired Education/Experience

Professional Engineering license (PE) strongly preferred Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering a plus Distribution/underbuild design experience is a plus Managerial and leadership skills a plus Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $88,000 to $108,000 per year The range for this position is displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual\'s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc. Benefits
