Senior Systems Engineer – Reliability, Availability, & Maintainability (RAM) role at
CACI International Inc . The opportunity focuses on providing comprehensive RAM engineering support to improve system availability and maintainability for the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS). Responsibilities
Prepare Reliability and Maintainability predictions and assessments based on design changes using the prediction methods of the most current version of MIL-HDBK-472. Evaluate maintainability requirements with attention to cost drivers, maintainability warranties, predictions, and data item submittals. Prepare and deliver Failure Summary and Analysis Reports, including reliability growth curves. Prepare ongoing updates of FMECAs to address the impact of engineering design changes; prepare new FMECAs where changes have occurred and no previous FMECA exists. Support Monthly Failure Review Boards to address failure data, historical trends, root cause analysis, and discuss top Operations and Sustainment cost drivers. Work with Product Support Manager to identify and address failure root causes and corrective actions across the complete supply chain; collect and analyze operational data and integrate RAM activities into supply chain management procedures. Prepare and deliver a Reliability Improvement Analysis when reliability or obsolescence modifications are identified and approved. Collaborate across all program stakeholders to ensure the program consistently executes IPS activities optimizing spares, provisioning, logistics support, interoperability, reliability, and maintainability. Qualifications
Required
Must hold an active TS with SCI preferred. Ability to obtain SCI required. BS in Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience performing complex system engineering analyses for DoD systems. Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-472 and/or experience preparing RAM customer deliverables (e.g., FMECA and FSAR). Excellent work habits (proactive, responsible, organized, self-motivated). Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) techniques. Desired
Experience designing, developing, and/or sustaining complex embedded systems within a DoD environment; related engineering field experience preferred (electrical, hardware, mechanical, computer, systems). Experience supporting RAM activities across the engineering lifecycle to improve availability and/or capability while lowering costs. Experience establishing parts management programs in accordance with MIL-STD-11991. Additional Information
Anticipated Posting End: 1/30/2026. Time Type: Full time. Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI. Travel: Up to 10% (Continental US). Employment Type: Regular.
