Our client is seeking a highly skilled
Technical Apparel Graphic Designer to support the translation of creative concepts into production-ready schematics.
This role bridges the gap between design and manufacturing, ensuring that artwork and technical details are accurately represented for factory execution. The ideal candidate combines a strong eye for design with the precision and organization required to manage multiple seasonal deliverables in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is a hybrid model in Los Angeles, California. Technical Apparel Graphic Designer Responsibilities
Develop detailed graphic schematics and technical packages for apparel production teams, ensuring artwork is accurate and consistent across multiple styles and seasons. Collaborate closely with design and product development teams to bring creative concepts to life through precise execution-ready files. Manage overlapping seasonal timelines, maintaining organized file systems and accurate version control across internal platforms. Support graphic direction and ideation by rapidly translating design intent into visual mockups, placements, and schematic variations. Partner cross-functionally with factory, sourcing, and materials teams to communicate graphic specifications and resolve production challenges. Prepare and upload finalized graphic files into internal systems for cross-functional review and global hand-off. Maintain alignment on branding, color standards, and technical accuracy throughout the development process. Contribute to ongoing process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and collaboration across teams. Technical Apparel Graphic Designer Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Apparel Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in graphic design, apparel design, or
technical art production within the apparel or accessories industry. Strong understanding of graphic application to apparel, including placement, scale, color separations, and production techniques. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with file management systems such as Box or PLM platforms. Experience collaborating with factory or vendor teams on production-ready artwork and technical file preparation. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple overlapping deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a solution-oriented mindset. Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities and project needs. Compensation: Up to $47.33/hr.
