Insight Global is seeking a Layout Designer to join a top customer team in Oshkosh, WI. The designer will support engineers by creating and updating drawing layouts using Creo CAD software, developing new and modified components and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in accordance with company standards. Base Pay Range
$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Update existing drawings based on engineering markups and re‑master CAD drawings to current formats. Create 2D and 3D layouts using Creo CAD software under the direction of the design team. Perform self‑checks to ensure accuracy, proper dimensioning, and adherence to CAD standards. Generate part numbers and enter data into ERP systems following naming conventions and data requirements. Required Skills and Experience
Associate degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent. Experience with Creo CAD system. Familiarity with Windchill. Experience with Model‑Based Definition (MBD) in automotive and/or aerospace industries. CAA card required. NICE TO HAVE Skills and Experience
Associate degree or equivalent with 3+ years of drafting/design experience. GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Certification. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail‑oriented and adaptable to fast‑paced environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint and email. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills. Benefits
