Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of embedded systems and sensor technology. The role involves working with low‑level analog signal processing, analog‑to‑digital conversion, and managing analog measurements in noisy environments. You will focus on PCB layout for AC and DC signal integrity, as well as electromechanical design and system integration testing.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain embedded systems.
Utilize sensor technology for innovative designs.
Perform low‑level analog signal processing and analog‑to‑digital conversion.
Conduct low‑level analog measurements in noisy environments.
Design PCB layouts for AC signal integrity, DC signal integrity, and EMC.
Integrate electromechanical systems and conduct system integration testing.
Ensure circuit design complies with EMC standards.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably 10+ years.
Proficiency in electrical design, analog and digital circuits, and design for manufacturing.
Experience with embedded systems and schematic design using Cadence.
Knowledge of ISO quality systems, specifically Design Controls/Product Realization.
Capability in component selection and schematic design.
Competence in circuit design, modeling, performance analysis (SPICE), and tradeoff analysis.
Ability to design and implement circuit testing across the product development lifecycle.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with sensor technology, AC/DC systems, EMC compliance, ISO quality standards, and embedded design.
Familiarity with Altium for design purposes.
Work Environment The position is based at our headquarters in Loveland, Colorado, where you will work in a state‑of‑the‑art Research and Development facility. We offer relocation assistance and flexible summer hours with 4/9s onsite from Monday to Thursday and a 4‑hour flex day on Friday. The team has a strong culture with no turnover in over three years, providing a stable and supportive work environment.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Loveland, Colorado.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year.
