Job Description As a Senior Staff System Engineer, you will support the THAAD Weapon Systems Engineering Senior Manager in solving issues, supporting the incremental design process and identifying areas to improve efficiencies. In this role, you will:
Perform cross functional area coordination for capabilities under development
Coordinate across functional areas to ensure objective evidence and messaging is consistent in support of design reviews
Collaborate with the requirements and verification team to identify improvements in the current processes
Develop methods for ensuring requirements across multiple products is consistent
Support the THAAD Problem Report Working Group (PRWG) in identifying capabilities to propose for the THAAD Program Capability List (TPCL)
Coordinate with Components and identify closure path for THAAD Observation Reports (TOR)
Desired skills
Experience with iterative development processes
Experience with agile tools (i.e. JIRA)
Experience with the THAAD program
Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency customer
Experience developing hardware requirements
