based in New York City. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Los Angeles/Orange County-based Lighting Designer with extensive project management experience for a local project. You will lead technical production, oversee all project documentation (including drawings, budgets, and schedules), and ensure projects stay on track. This role demands a creative professional with proven project management skills in architectural lighting. You will coordinate with various key players and provide design guidance under senior leadership. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required in Interior Design, Architecture, or Lighting Design Minimum 5+ years of experience in Architectural Lighting Design or equivalent Minimum 3+ years of project management experience, specifically in lighting design AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Revu Bluebeam, Agi32 or other light modelling software, COMCheck or other energy compliancy software Familiarity with ASHRAE/IES 90.1 Standards, IES Standards and Guidelines and LEED Standards relative to Lighting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Hand drawing skills are a plus Must be fluent in written and spoken English Must be local to the greater Los Angeles and Orange County area Background check is required No relocation provided. SALARY RANGE: This is a fixed-term contract (6+ months). $50-55/hour.
