Lead and manage various survey projects from start to finish Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders Perform and review survey work to ensure accuracy and quality Oversee complex projects involving: Bridges and railroads Highways and utilities Stormwater systems and infrastructure Construction stakeout and layout Mentor junior staff and support professional development within the team Qualifications
Active PLS license in Connecticut (required) PLS license in MA, RI, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe (preferred) Expertise in: Easements and rights-of-way ALTA/NSPS surveys Boundary and topographic surveys Legal property descriptions Project and team management Proficiency with modern field equipment: Total stations GPS/GNSS systems Data collectors Strong experience with drafting software: Carlson, AutoCAD Civil 3D, OpenRoads, or similar Ability to establish CAD standards and mentor others Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage deadlines and client expectations Valid driver’s license (required) About MCA
